FRC Mentor

As a leader in the Stratford School Prep robotics program, I have mentored over 50 students in designing, fabricating, and wiring their first FRC-style robot, implementing project management strategies like build reviews and daily stand-ups to ensure realistic scope and maximize learning. My contributions also include developing assessment tools to measure both technical and soft skills, running Python and robotics workshops to cultivate new talent, and establishing operational habits like version control and design reviews to foster an inclusive and compounding learning environment.

I am a second-year Computer Science teacher at Stratford Preparatory Blackford, having completed my Master’s in Computer Science at California State University, East Bay after arriving in the U.S. in 2022. This is my first year advising a FIRST Competition team, and I am enthusiastically learning alongside my students. I am proud of my young and eager FTC team and look forward to our collective growth and future achievements.
